BOYS AND GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK

SPORTS REGISTRATION

We are excited to announce that we are extending the opportunity for our 6th grade students to join our MS Track team for the 2023 season due to lower than anticipated numbers of 7th and 8th graders coming out this year.  Please note that any 6th graders wishing to come out must register online and have a completed physical on file before they can participate.  The deadline to complete these requirements Tuesday, April 18th! 

Ionia Middle School offers the school sponsored sports of 6th/7th/8th grade boys and girls track to IMS students for the Spring Season.  It also works in cooperation with the High School Varsity Coaches, Youth Sports Programs, and the Ionia Parks and Recreation Department to offer the Junior Bulldog programs of Youth Softball  (see Junior Bulldog information below).  

Any students interested in playing a school sponsored sport must have a current physical (completed on or after April 15th) on file in the MS Principals office and complete the registration form below before they can tryout/participate.

1. Complete student information, parent information, and Athletic Code acknowledgment in online form.

2. Turn in completed physical to the Middle School Principals office between 7:30 am - 3:00 pm.

IMS School Sponsored Sports Tryout/Practice Information

6th, 7th and 8th Grade Boys and Girls Track

• Students must be registered and have a physical on file before Tuesday April 18th in order to participate this year.

• Practices are from 3:00-5:00 at the HS and students may ride bus 5 or 17 out to the HS.  Students may begin practicing once they have competed the online registration and have a physical on file.  Students must be registered and attending practices by Tuesday 4/18 to participate!

Junior Bulldog Sports Programs

The Junior Bulldog Sports programs are not school sponsored, but are run in cooperation with the Ionia Athletic Department, High School Varsity Coaches, Youth Sports Programs, and the Ionia Parks and Recreation Department.  These programs are offered to Middle School Aged students and younger.
