Congratulations to Erin Groom who signed her letter of intent to play softball for Coach Molly McKinney next year at Grand Rapids Community College after finishing her career as a Bulldog this spring!  

Ionia is excited to see another one of its athlete to extend their playing career at the collegiate level after graduation.  Erin has been in the softball program for the past three years and is looking forward to a great senior year.  Not only does she excel on the softball field but also in the classroom where she has been and IHS honor roll student, an IHS scholar-athlete, a CAAC all-academic athlete, and is a member of the IHS National Honors Society.  Erin is the daughter of Jeff and Kelley Groom and plans to pursue a degree in business or accounting in her post secondary education.
