IMS FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION

Ionia Middle School offers the school sponsored sports of boys and girls cross country and girls volleyball to its 7th and 8th grade students for the Fall Sports Season.  It also works in cooperation with the High School Varsity Coaches, Youth Sports Programs, and the Ionia Parks and Recreation Department to offer the Junior Bulldog programs of football, sideline cheer, soccer, and volleyball in the fall (see Junior Bulldog information below).  

Any students interested in playing a school sponsored sport must have a current physical (completed on or after April 15th) on file in the MS Principals office and complete the registration form below before they can tryout/participate.

1. Complete student information, parent information, and Athletic Code acknowledgment in online 
2. Turn in completed physical to the Middle School Principals office between 7:30 am -3:00 pm.

Junior Bulldog Sports Programs

The Junior Bulldog Sports programs are not school sponsored, but are run in cooperation with the Ionia Athletic Department, High School Varsity Coaches, Youth Sports Programs, and the Ionia Parks and Recreation Department.  These programs are offered to Middle School Aged students and younger.

• Middle School aged Football is run through Ionia Parks and Recreation and registration can be done at the Ionia Armory.

• Middle School aged Sideline Cheer is run by Varsity Cheer Coach Kari Jones.  Contact her at kjones@ioniaschools.org for more information and to register.
