Ionia sophomore Sam Eppler earned the honors of being the CAAC White Division's top tennis player by winning the #1 singles flight at Friday's league tournament in Portland.  He defeated Eaton Rapids #1 6-1, 6-1 in the semifinals and Lansing Catholic's #1 6-2, 6-0 in the championship giving him both the regular season and tournament championships.   Congratulations to Sam for displaying GRIT (passion + perseverance) to accomplish his goal of a being the leagues top player.
