Tryouts For the 2020 Travel Season 

For age groups 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U & 14U 

Age on May 1st, 2020 Sunday, September 8th 

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM @ the Ionia High School Varsity Field, warm-up @ 2:45 pm

• Tryouts are free and open to any student in the Ionia area

What do tryouts look like? 

• Will consist of 6 measurements: Base running, infield, outfield, hitting, pitching and baseball IQ. Bring all of your gear! 

What does the travel season look like? 

• Travel Season runs spring (mid-April) through summer (July) 
• Approximately 30 games 
• 7-10 home games & 7-10 away games 
  • Away games are during the week and are typically in the Lansing area with 5:45 pm arrival time with 6:30 pm start times 
• 3 weekend tournaments (with possible overnight stay) 
• 1-2 practices per week 
• Minimum of 6 fundraising obligations per year 

Cost for the season will be determined by fundraising success but will be in the ballpark of $150
