With family, teammates, coaches, and administration looking on, Mason Hodges and Brett Petersen took the first steps in the next phase of their bowling careers as they wrapped up their senior year.  The two standouts signed their letters of intent to bowl at Mid Michigan College next year for the Lakers.

Mason, the son of Allan and Jennifer Hodges, has been one of the Bulldogs top bowlers since his freshman year and qualified for this year's individual state finals.  He plans to study welding next year at Mid Michigan College.  

Brett is the son of Geoff and Arisa Petersen and is a 3 sport athlete for the Bulldogs who participate in tennis 4 yrs., basketball 1yr/bowling 2yrs, and baseball 1 yr/golf 3 yrs.  He not only has worked hard to represent his teams, our school, and community but also excels in the classroom and is the true definition of a student-athlete.  He plans on studying welding next year at Mid Michigan College.

We wish both Mason and Brett the best of luck as they finish their senior year as  Ionia Bulldogs and in their futures as Lakers!
