The Ionia Boys Track and field team traveled to Eaton Rapids on Wednesday May 8th to compete against CAAC White Opponent Lansing Catholic. The boys defeated Lansing Catholic 96-41. The Bulldogs earned 19 PR’s and won 12 of the 17 events in the process. The win give the Ionia Boys team a final Dual Meet record of 5-2 placing them near the top of the CAAC White division. The final placing will be determined at the CAAC White Championship Meet on Wednesday May 22nd also at Eaton Rapids. The Bulldogs are next in action on Tuesday at Charlotte for a “Last Chance” meet and the MHSAA Region 15-2 Meet, next Friday (5/17) in Mason.
