Ionia Varsity Bulldogs Claim Victory Over Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds

Ionia Varsity Bulldogs captured the lead, 2-1, in the top of the second after Colt Piercefield doubled to center field, and Jaxon Palmer singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Ionia Varsity Bulldogs added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Wyatt Erridge singled to right field, Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds committed an error, Ryan Lee singled to center field, and Christian Miller doubled to center field, each scoring one run.

Parker Seidelman earned the win for Ionia Varsity Bulldogs. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and three runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out three and walking four. Stohr took the loss for Eaton Rapids Varsity Greyhounds. The right-handed pitcher went five innings, surrendering eight runs (five earned) on 11 hits, striking out three and walking two. Trevor Hodges pitched one inning of shutout ball for Ionia Varsity Bulldogs in relief. The hurler surrendered zero hits, striking out one and walking none.
