The Ionia girls varsity tennis team lost to Eaton Rapids Monday by a score of 7-1.
- First singles Avelin McGuire lost 6-3,6-2.
- Second singles Abella Woodard lost 6-2,7-5.
- Third singles Keagan Prescott lost 6-1,6-0
- Fourth singles Amelia McGee lost 6-0,6-1.
- First doubles Tessa Lemke and Audrey Wall lost a tough three set match 6-2,3-6,7-6.
- Second doubles Amelia Griffith and Logan Thomas lost 6-3,6-4.
- Third doubles Katelyn Weber and Mariya Berry also lost a tough three set match 6-2,2-6,4-6.
- Fourth doubles notched the big win 6-4,6-2.
Winning for JV were Aizlin Barna and Grace Clark in singles. Doubles winners were Chloe Zander and Sally Lamphere.
The Bulldogs travel to Charlotte on Wednesday.
