HASTINGS HIGH SCHOOL: 110.00
Ionia traveled to Hastings tonight for a triple dual meet vs. DK/TK/Hastings and Grand Rapids Union. Ionia lost to both teams but raced hard. Every swimmer who raced tonight had at least one personal best time. Madeline McGee took second in the 50 yard freestyle, with a state cut and breaking the school record. She also took first in the 100 yard freestyle. Calah Holman took second in the 100 yard backstroke, narrowly out-touching her competition. Other swimmers who had really good swims in the pool tonight included Alexis Burns, Kayla Hagen, Sydney Estep and Jules Weller.
The Ionia Varsity Girls will finish their season at the CAAC Red Conference meet next Saturday, November 7. McGee will compete at the D3 State Meet on November 21.
