SHEPHERD HIGH SCHOOL: 49
The Bulldogs traveled to Central Montcalm for their first round of District action and defeated Shepherd 52-49 in overtime.
Nick Szymanski led the way with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Logan Schafer added a double double finishing with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Kyle Griffith added 12 points.
Ionia (16-5) will play for a district championship on Friday with a 700 pm tip-off.
