Greetings Bulldog Supporters,
The student-athletes of Ionia High School are fortunate to be part of a community with a proud tradition of support for educational athletics. Thanks to your continued generosity, IHS has been able to offer outstanding athletic opportunities without implementing the pay-to-play fees that many neighboring districts now require.
To continue offering these opportunities to all student-athletes without financial barriers, we ask that you consider supporting the Ionia Affiliated Athletic Boosters (IAAB) by becoming a Super Booster for the 2025–26 school year.
This year, the IAAB proudly celebrates its 30th year as a nonprofit organization composed of dedicated parents, grandparents, coaches, and community volunteers working in partnership with the IHS Athletic Department. The mission of the IAAB is to enhance our athletic programs through funding for equipment, financial assistance, facility improvements, and many other initiatives that directly support our student-athletes.
Through concessions, 50/50 raffles, advertising, and other fundraisers, the IAAB raises money to support all 25 of our athletic programs. Last year alone, the IAAB contributed over $85,000 to Bulldogs athletics—including upgrades to the weight room and improvements to the softball facilities. A significant portion of these funds came from the Super Boosters program, which gives local businesses and families the opportunity to proudly support Bulldog athletics.
In the 2024–25 school year, our Bulldogs achieved impressive milestones:
- 25 State Finals qualifiers
- 8 League champions
- 3 All-State athletes
- 5 athletes who signed letters of intent to compete at the collegiate level
- A second consecutive MHSAA playoff appearance by our football team
As we look ahead to the 2025–26 seasons, the IAAB is eager to continue this momentum—and we need your help to do it.
It is the shared goal of the Ionia Athletic Department and the IAAB to work hand-in-hand with local businesses, families, and community members to shape student-athletes into outstanding citizens and future leaders. Your support makes a lasting impact.
