The Ionia Middle School cross country teams traveled to DeWitt Friday to compete against Lansing Catholic, Belding, and Shepherd. It was a new experience for the runners as both the boys and girls teams ran simultaneously, making it difficult to get accurate placings. However, that did not stop the Bulldogs from setting some personal records, including: Nolan Hart 15:11, Brayden Diebel 15:54, Charly Smith 16:35, Alexa Barna 17:12, Tayvon Schwab 17:25, Dalles Bailiff 17:28, Cadence Denis-Griffith 17:42, Cole Petersen 17:59, and Sadie Roberts 24:11.
The Bulldogs will host their next meet on Monday, September 21st against Holt.
