Ionia JV Baseball loses 2 close games tonight vs the Mason Bulldogs. Ionia lost the first game 4-5 and lost the second game 5-6.

Teddy Sprank was the starting pitcher in the first game. The lefty gave up 4 hits and 3 runs (1 earned) over 7 innings, striking out 4 and walking 2.

Offensively the Bulldogs had RBI’s from Ralston, Hoppes, and Greggory in the game. Ionia was also able to steal 6 bases in the game.

With the 2 losses Ionia JV Baseball now sits at 5-10-1 on the season and will next play on Tuesday May 7th @Portland @4pm.
