Not our best start to a game tonight but we were able to get a few goals in the first half. Those helped us to get through some of our inconsistent play in which we were making things more difficult than they needed to be. The second half we did a better job of moving the ball and were able to use the width of the field to mount more attacks. Carl Goeckel took his opportunities to provide a spark by running down the left flank to support the attack. Goeckel combined really well with Andrew Paton and Gage Flanner, supported by Brady Deibel who made sure to keep their efforts safe from any counter attack. 

- Scotti Kimber extended his goal scoring streak to four games. 
- Derrick Santana really did a lot of the hard work tonight inserting himself into the little battles for the ball and generated goals from those battles. 
- In the second half Andrew Paton served a couple of warning shots the keeper's way, until he finally did score from the left side of the field for his first of the season.

Scotti Kimber - 2 - That's five goals in four games. Don't stop now... 
Gage Flanner - 1 - The lone striker tonight. He kept the defense busy most of the night and got a goal for his efforts. 
Andrew Paton - 1 - A beautiful strike from distance that was always going to beat the keeper to the lower right corner. His first of the year.
Derrick Santana - 1 - Took time out from playing provider in order to score a goal of his own.

Alex Barr didn't have a lot of work today in goal. Got the win with 2 saves.
