Ionia lost a tough hard fought battle to Eaton Rapids 50-46. Nick Szymanski paced the Bulldogs with 15 points and 5 assists. Logan Schafer added 10 points and 9 rebounds.
Ionia is 14-4 on the season and finished the league 8-2 to earn their second straight conference championship.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday at county rival Belding
